Provisional Order
Completing the online order form does not confirm an agreed order. It is only when you make full payment and approve the PDF design (that will be sent to you via email) is when your order will be confirmed.
The PDF design is produced in Black and White to show the layout of design. Due to the technical limitations of computer display screens we do not produce coloured versions as they will not give an accurate representation of the ribbon and print colour combinations.
Care for your ribbon
The print on satin ribbons will not be effected under normal handling but is not scratch or wash proof. Please be advised that too much handling or rubbing i.e. retying of knots or bows, will effect the print. Metallic prints are water resistant.
Avoid fraying of your ribbon
To avoid fraying of the ribbon firstly, and perhaps most simply, please use a very sharp pair of scissors and try cutting the end of your ribbon on a diagonal or trimming a v shape into it. This will reduce most fraying to the minimum. There are also products called Fray Check and Fray Block which you can use to prevent fraying.

Print Colours
Not all print colours produce the expected result on all the ribbon
colours. Generally this is dark print colours on dark ribbon colours, or vice versa.
Where we feel appropriate we will add a warning message on to the design proof if
the print and ribbon combination chosen may not produce the desired result.
Although we cannot be held responsible if the print colour isn’t as you imagined and we would recommend printed samples if you want to see your chosen printed ribbon combination before placing a full order.
Payment Conditions
Due to the personalised nature of the work, full payment is required before commencing the work. No refunds or cancellations available, after we have received payment and approval of the design. Please therefore ensure you check the design proof thoroughly before approving and making payment for your ribbon design.
Delivery Information
For orders of 10 metres and under, your ribbon will be dispatched by Royal Mail First Class delivery, and by recorded delivery on orders above this amount. As recorded delivery requires a signature you may need to collect your ribbon from your local post office depot if it cannot be delivered on the first attempt. Creative Ribbon is not liable for any compensation in the unlikely event that your ribbon being lost or delayed in the post.
